The competition aims to support scalable carbon capture and utilization projects.

1. Carbon capture technologies
2. Reuse and recycling of carbon
3. Industrial integration of technological solutions

1. Solution should be beyond the ideation phase (ideally seed and series A).
2. Commercial viability: solution should be attractive to clients.
3. Preference will be given to projects with 7-10 technology readiness level (TRL), with allowance for projects at an early stage (4-6 level).
4. Potential of current and future sustainability.
5. Investment readiness.
6. Opportunity of geographic and industrial scope.

1. Up to USD 335,000 distributed among winners
2. Opportunity to participate in selected World Economic Forum and partner-led events, projects, and communities
3. Global exposure via the Forum’s and UpLink’s digital media channels
4. Strategic introductions to selected organizations in the Forum’s and UpLink’s network
5. Including programming and support on technical, business and operational matters
